Pictures and a video summary of the meeting are now available two weeks after the celebration of the IV Ibero-American Gaming Summit. The Colombian city brought together the main players in the Ibero-American sector on the 4th, 5th and 6th of April, within the framework of an already consolidated annual meeting that seeks to strengthen cooperation and dialogue between operators, regulators and other stakeholders. More than 200 guests enjoyed 4 round tables and 8 presentations, totalling 25 top level industry speakers. A meeting which, after three successful previous editions in Madrid (I and II) and Mexico City (III), has been held for the first time in South America.

The high level of commitment shown by all participants in this fourth edition of the Summit, coming from Spain, for the second time consolidates the Ibero-American Gaming Summit as a reference meeting, with a strong international character, for the promotion of relations between Europe and Latin America. More than 10 Latin American countries, represented by their gaming regulators, reaffirmed their willingness to cooperate and work for the regulation of the sector at a regional level and share experiences with a view to promote a prosperous, safe and regulated industry for all.

Under the title “Towards the consolidation of legal and responsible gaming in Ibero-America”, the participants continued with the initiatives proposed at the 2016 Summit, the year in which they worked for gaming diplomacy, as an integrating element. On this occasion, the most important players in the industry came together for the same purpose: to develop cooperation practices that enhance the gaming sector, its integration and regulation at an international level through clear and unified policies in order to combat the illegality and promote reliable, inclusive and transparent gaming.

Regulators from 10 Latin American countries (Spain, Colombia, Panama, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Brazil, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Peru) participated in this fourth edition of the Summit ratifying their commitment, support and interest by generating and strengthening communication between all stakeholders in the sector, in addition to discussing the current situation of the industry and exchanging ideas and experiences with the aim of strengthening relations between the gaming companies and Government entities.
